Feuerland Spiele was founded in 2012 by Frank Heeren and Uwe Rosenberg. Both grew up in Aurich, East Frisia, and have known each other since their school days.
The starting point for the publishing house was the game Terra Mystica. The worldwide success of the game laid the foundation for a lasting company, and due to its continued success, Feuerland Verlagsgesellschaft mbH was founded in 2015.
Currently, Feuerland's catalog is growing by 2-3 titles per year.
