Daemons of Nurgle: Plague Drones (Mail Order)

High-ranking Plaguebearers in the daemon legions are known as Plague Drones – a title that conveys exemplary devotion. These overseers in Nurgle’s realm ride Foulflies into realspace – giant demonic insects whose exteriors are so hideous that the mere sight of them leaves festering scars on the soul.

In a collection of stomach-churning creations, it takes something especially heinous like Nurgle's Plague Drones to grab attention. On each model, a Plaguebearer sits atop a giant Rot Fly, which has two large pairs of tattered wings as well as tumors and lumps on its body. Exposed entrails are also visible here and there, and in the bulbous abdomen of one of the creatures, the horrific, distorted faces of poor, partially digested enemies are visible. Each of the three Rot Flies is unique. They differ in details such as the plague proboscis, the mandible and the sting. The Plaguebearers also have a number of disturbing gifts from Nurgle, from their boils and open wounds to their exposed guts. They come with various horns, gesticulate with bony fingers and hold skulls or primitive blades in their hands.
