The search for the Gnarlwood has drawn all manner of warriors into the insatiable forest. There, they seek glory, riches, or simply delight in murder. So many corpses litter the forest floor that the Pyregheists of the Nightspook have been drawn here, and now they threaten to engulf the forest in the unholy flames of the Great Necromancer. Their fury is only halted by the rising waters of a great river, long dormant but slowly reawakening under the guidance of the Ydrilan Riverblades.
Warcry: Pyre and Flood continues the journey into the Gnarlwood with two new warbands – the flame-throwing Pyregheists and the Aelven warrior monks of the Ydrilan Riverblades. The box also contains the Idol of the Old Ones, a massive terrain piece of a fallen statue depicting the ornate head of a Slann, as well as a campaign book brimming with new lore, rules, and images. You'll also find all the cards you need to use these warbands in your games of Warcry.
This set contains:
– 64-page softcover Warband Book: Pyre and Flood – with lore, images, rules, quests, and campaigns for both new warbands in the box, as well as the new Idol of the Old Ones terrain
– Ydrilan Riverblades – 10 agile Lumineth warriors who serve the Aelementor of the rivers in the realms. They surge forth to deliver swift and merciless judgment, striving to cleanse the tainted lands. These multipart plastic miniatures include 1x High Tide Seneschal, 4x Spray Dancers, and 5x Current Runners with various weapon and cosmetic options.
– Pyregheists – 8 merciless servants of Nagash, whose task is to free the souls trapped in the Gnarlwood by burning down the forest. These multipart plastic miniatures include 1x Deacon of Flames, 2x Witchfire Wardens, 2x Flame Spectres, and 3x Torch Spectres with weapon and cosmetic options.
– Idol of the Old Ones terrain piece – a multipart plastic kit to build the head of a destroyed statue in the form of a Slann, with flat areas where your miniatures can stand during games.
– 42x Battleplan cards – quickly and easily generate battleplans with 6x Terrain cards, 12x Deployment cards, 12x Victory cards, and 12x Twist cards.
– 20x Warband cards – your games will run smoothly with 3x Ability cards for both warbands as well as general abilities, 3x Wound divider cards to keep track of your fighters' condition in battle, 7x Ydrilan Riverblades fighter cards, and 7x Pyregheists fighter cards.
Warcry: Pyre and Flood is an excellent way to expand your Warcry collection, providing you with two exciting new warbands and an impressive terrain piece that seamlessly integrates with other terrain pieces from the Seraphon ruins range. You will need a copy of the Warcry Core Book to use the contents of this box.
All miniatures include their corresponding bases. These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
