Death Guard: Biologus Putrifier (43-24)

The great work of the Death Guard is to spread Nurgle's diverse gifts to every corner of realspace. In this process, Biologus Putrifiers play a vital role, refining the putrid, mushy mass produced by Foul Blightspawns and distilling it to unleash its maximum potency. Racks of plague grenades hang from their back-mounted modules, impregnated with the latest strains of vile diseases. With each salvo of projectiles launched, the epidemic spreads, while injector pistols unleash concentrated doses of rot upon their victims.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components to build one Biologus Putrifier. As one would expect from a member of the Death Guard, he is clad in corrupted and rusted armour, filled with symbols of Nurgle and from which writhing tentacles erupt. The armour also shows traces of burns and melted spots – likely due to the occasional explosions in which his experiments sometimes end. The most striking feature, however, is the rack of plague grenades that the Biologus Putrifier carries on his back, from which more than a dozen explosive containers dangle, filled to the brim with festering rot and ripe for harvest. He carries an injector pistol, and his pose shows him reloading it with a vial, which undoubtedly contains a particularly unpleasant concoction. One of his tentacles also clutches a plague knife. Even the breathing mask of his helmet has an extension that resembles a proboscis – allowing him, without a doubt, to better scent the results of his experiments.

The Biologus Putrifier consists of 10 individual parts and comes with a Citadel 40mm Round Base.
