Adeptus Custodes : Custodian Wardens (01-11)

Custodian Wardens are known amongst their comrades as sober and endlessly patient guardians. Taking up the robes that mark their station, they swear binding oaths to fight as steadfast watchmen, as living fortresses of auramite and sinew that no foe shall ever overcome. The oaths of each Warden are personal, written by him after a full year of solitary contemplation on the ledges of the Hanged Man’s Tower itself. Breaking those vows would be worse than death to these warriors, and their determination to uphold them only hardens their already formidable willpower into a truly terrifying intensity.

This multi-part plastic kit contains all the components necessary to assemble a unit of 5 Custodian Wardens. Easily recognised by the ceremonial robes worn over their auramite armour, they make for an imposing sight – as with all Adeptus Custodes, every surface of their armour is absolutely covered in sculpted details, with gemstones, eagles, lightning bolts and filigree aplenty. Each is armed with either a guardian spear or castellan axe, 5 of each being supplied in the kit. The helmets, helmet plumes and thigh armour in the kit are interchangeable, allowing you to make your Wardens unique.

Optionally, 1 model can be assembled as a Shield-Captain, who can be distinguished by his choice of 2 bare heads, a unique chest plate, unique shoulder pads and his own ceremonial robe – he can be armed with a castellan axe or guardian spear, and holds a misericordia. Additionally, 1 model can be assembled as a Vexilus Praetor – as well as the regular weapon options, he carries an ornate Vexillum.

This kit comprises 78 components and is supplied with 5 Citadel 40mm Round bases.
