At the heart of Shyish, the ancient city of Ulfenkarn stands on the brink of annihilation. The cruel vampire lord Radukar the Wolf has transformed the once-proud city into little more than a banquet for himself and his coterie of vicious servants. But now, a group of heroes aims to break the curse and free the city.
In Warhammer Quest: Cursed City, you and your friends take on the roles of a group of disparate heroes seeking glory, treasure, and honour in the streets of Ulfenkarn. Only by working together and combining your strengths and abilities can you hope to survive. With each journey, you will learn more about the well-kept secrets of the Cursed City and encounter the murderous undead that haunt it... The game can be played solo or with up to 3 friends. Each excursion into the Cursed City is a race against time, as Radukar the Wolf's forces grow stronger as night falls. At the end of each journey into Ulfenkarn, players are picked up by the airship Adamant so they can heal their wounds, gain experience, and make plans for the future. Only experienced heroes with the best weapons can hope to vanquish Radukar and free Ulfenkarn from its undead curse – do you have what it takes to save the Cursed City?
Warhammer Quest: Cursed City is a cooperative board game that can be played solo or with up to three friends. Together, you enter Ulfenkarn to participate in one of four journeys – Hunt, Scavenge, Deliverance, and Decapitation, which combine into a heroic quest to overthrow Radukar and his lieutenants and free the city from its undead curse.
