Lazarus is a mighty warrior, wielding the Blade of the Enmity with all the martial skill expected of the Dark Angels. He is known throughout his Chapter for his cool demeanour, and only when fighting enemy sorcerers does he abandon his rigid composure. He has seen many battle-brothers fall to the horrors of the warp, and in tribute to the lost, he strikes all the harder against any enemy psychic, calling out the names of the dead to honour their memory and spur himself on to brave deeds.

As an HQ choice for the Dark Angels Chapter, Lazarus is a formidable close-quarters combatant, especially against his chosen prey – enemy psychics. Meanwhile, the Helm of the Soul Strikers he wears protects him from the fell influence of those who dare to wield the warp against him.

Master Lazarus can alternatively be assembled as a unnamed Primaris Captain with a choice of a helmeted or unhelmeted head. Instead of wearing the Helm of the Soul Strikers, the Primaris Captain can be armed with a bolt rifle and a choice of power sword and power fist.
