This essential expansion brings you new ways to enjoy competitive games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar for the first season of 2022-23, including updated battleplans and Pitched Battle profiles for every unit and army. This pack includes two books: the 96-page hardback, spiral-bound General's Handbook and the 34-page softcover Pitched Battle Profiles book.
This season of the General's Handbook contains:
– An introduction to preparing Pitched Battles for balanced play in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, including guides on painting to Battle-Ready standard for your miniatures and an extensive list of official publications that can be used in Pitched Battles
– Detailed background information on Gallet, the wind-swept continent of Ghur, which serves as the setting for the story. You'll learn all about the arid landscape, the beasts that inhabit it, and the tunnels beneath it
– War Zone rules for Gallet, the Splintered Land, with special rules revolving around strengthening Battleline units, a terrifying new realm spell for all wizards, and an aggressive realm command available to all players
