The Malstrain is an insidious mutation of the Symbiont’s Curse. These experiments, created to create a vaccine against the Xenos plague, have simply turned into something new and terrible; a Xenos ulcer that still infests Macropolus Secundus. The Malstrain’s symbionts are horrific evolutionary missteps, possessing extreme speed and aggression, capable of tearing a seasoned Goliath into bloody shreds in seconds. They accompany the gangs and Brood Scum they have infected, accompanied by Malstrain Tyramites – oversized insectoid parasites that have swollen due to the Malstrain infection and follow their masters like loyal, chirping dogs.

From this multi-part plastic kit, you can build your own gang of Malstrain or Malstrain Corrupted with six Malstrain Genestealers and four Malstrain Tyramites. Each of the Malstrain Genestealers has razor-sharp claws and various head options, including drooling tongues, spiky ovipositors and tentacles. The Malstrain Tyramites fly behind them and have two tentacle options and two bodies to choose from. The kit also includes 10 mutated heads to create Brood Scum, designed to be used on the Hive Scum models, which are sold separately.

This set consists of 90 plastic parts and includes 6x Necromunda bases (40mm), 4x Necromunda bases (25mm) and 6x flight stands (35mm). The miniatures are unpainted and need to be assembled – we recommend using Citadel plastic glue and Citadel Colour paints.
