Regarded by many as the most advanced Dreadnought in the Great Crusade's arsenal, the Contemptor Dreadnought merges traditional technologies with arcane cybernetic lore. Its impressive speed and strength spring from the powerful atomantic reactor, which also fuels the defensive energy fields that further increase its durability on the battlefield. Armed with a versatile array of weaponry that allows it to serve as a mobile heavy weapons platform, a close-combat powerhouse, or a versatile line-breaker, the Contemptor found a place in every Legion, no matter their preferred tactics.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Contemptor Dreadnought, an impressive war engine boasting a truly outrageous bounty of weapon options. The kit includes a choice of ranged weapons – a conversion beam cannon, a gravis autocannon, a gravis bolt cannon, a gravis lascannon, a gravis melta cannon, a gravis plasma cannon, a kheres assault cannon, and a volkite dual-caliver – each of which can be mounted on either of the Contemptor's arms. The kit also includes two close combat fists, each of which can be built as either a gravis power fist or a gravis chainfist, and offers a choice of built-in weaponry – a combi-bolter, a graviton gun, a heavy flamer, a meltagun, or a plasma blaster. The model can even be built with a hull-mounted havoc missile launcher or a head-mounted helix targeting array.

You'll also find a wide array of alternative components and cosmetic options, including two heads, four different armour designs, a choice of claws or fingers for the power fists, and scroll and heraldry accessories. The model's joints, head, and power fist fingers can all be assembled to offer a wide range of posing options, ensuring no two Contemptors need look quite the same.

This kit comprises 164 plastic components and is supplied with a Citadel 60mm Round Base, as well as a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet featuring 44 optional markings and icons for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.

This kit is compatible with the Contemptor Dreadnought Weapon Frames, allowing you to equip your Dreadnought with two of the same arm-mounted ranged weapon.
