The Contemptor Dreadnought merges ancient technologies with arcane cybernetic lore. Its impressive speed and strength spring from a powerful atomantic reactor, which also feeds the defensive energy fields that further enhance its durability. While the Contemptor can be armed for a variety of battlefield roles, many Legion commanders prefer to specialise the walker's armaments – equipping it with a pair of devastating heavy weapons particularly suited for eliminating enemy armour, chewing through elite infantry, or tearing apart lightly armoured foes.

This plastic upgrade set provides an additional set of ranged weapons for your Contemptor Dreadnought, allowing you to specialise its weapon loadout with a pair of identical arm-mounted ranged weapons. The kit includes the components to build four different heavy weapons – a gravis autocannon, a gravis bolt cannon, a gravis lascannon, and a gravis melta cannon – each of which can be mounted on either arm of your Contemptor. It also includes an extra gravis power fist, which can be built with either claws or blunt fingers, and includes your choice of built-in weapon – a combi-bolter, a graviton blaster, a heavy flamer, a melta, or a plasma blaster. The kit also provides the individual components for two additional Contemptor Dreadnought arm assemblies, as spares for hobby projects.

This upgrade kit comprises 57 plastic components, and is designed for use with the Contemptor Dreadnought kit, sold separately. This kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
