Drop Pods are self-contained, reusable orbital descent capsules, each capable of transporting a squad of Space Marines. They are used for surprise attacks and deployments deep into active war zones. The warships of the Legiones Astartes rain them down upon their target from orbit like an artillery barrage. Drop Pods are armoured and reinforced to withstand the stresses of atmospheric entry, but their true defence is their speed.

This multipart plastic kit allows you to build a Drop Pod, a transport option for your Legiones Astartes armies in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. If you want to thwart your enemy's plans, distract their forces, or strike aggressively, the Drop Pod opens up new strategies. By default, the Drop Pod is equipped with a combi-bolter on a swivel mount. The miniature has a detailed interior with a console and harnesses. In addition, all five doors can be assembled without glue, allowing you to open and close them as needed.

This miniature has no Legion-specific markings and can be used in any Space Marine force, whether they are loyal to the Emperor or have joined the Warmaster's rebellion.

This kit comprises 89 plastic components and 1 Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet with 288 high-quality, waterslide decals featuring Legion symbols for the Sons of Horus, Imperial Fists, Iron Warriors, and Salamanders, with which you can adorn your miniatures.

This miniature is supplied unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
