One of the heaviest assault transports in the Legiones Astartes arsenal, the Mastodon is reserved for use against the most heavily defended positions. Many times the size of a Land Raider, it is capable of carrying over forty Space Marines through the most perilous of battlefields, sheltering them from enemy fire. The Mastodon’s primary role is to transport troops directly to breaches, which it carves with its prow-mounted Siege Melta Array. Few fortifications can withstand such a fearsome weapon, and the Legionaries can proceed directly through molten rock and steel into the heart of the enemy's position.

This multipart plastic kit builds two Mastodon Super-heavy Assault Transports, colossal vehicles for your Legiones Astartes armies in Legions Imperialis. Their void shields make them the best possible transport for infantry capable of withstanding tremendous firepower as your foe attempts in vain to bring it down before it can disgorge its deadly cargo, sending a torrent of elite infantry directly into the heart of the action. Their Siege Melta Array is designed to crack open enemy bunkers, but is equally adept at felling Knights and even Titans. The Mastodon has a Skyreaper Battery to keep enemy flyers at bay, as well as sponson-mounted Heavy Flamers to clear out infantry. The kit also includes a choice of weapons for the sponsons, Heavy Bolters or Lascannons, and there are two hatches, one of which can be built open with a Tank Commander overseeing the battlefield.

This kit comprises 83 plastic components and a Legiones Imperialis Transfer Sheet featuring 1130 high-quality, waterslide transfers.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
