The thugs and villains who gathered at Sharkey’s call to invade the Shire were some of the worst that mankind had to offer. Their hearts were filled with greed for what others had earned, and the joy of those around them filled them with bitterness. This manifested itself cruelly as they quickly and brutally suppressed the Hobbits.

As their name suggests, the Ruffians are a mob of crudely equipped thugs in Sharkey's service. This box contains a total of 12 Ruffians armed as follows:

- 3 are armed with axes
- 3 are armed with clubs
- 3 are armed with bows
- 2 are armed with whips
- 1 is armed with a club and carries a drinking vessel

This set contains 12 metal miniatures and one Citadel 25mm Round Base for each. Their rules are included in Armies of The Lord of the Rings™ and Scouring of the Shire.
