Key Features

  • 6 heavy interceptors piloted by Space Marines

  • Heavily armoured and armed, boasting an impressive arsenal of weaponry

  • Elite interceptors that can effortlessly support ground troops and shoot down heavy bombers

The Xiphon is a combat aircraft of ancient design, capable of operating in orbit and in the atmosphere, with many variations of its basic design found on lost colonies throughout the galaxy. Formidable in battle and heavily armed, the Xiphon had been more or less phased out of active service by the end of the Great Crusade – tens of thousands of these aircraft were rapidly reactivated when the Horus Heresy erupted.

Xiphon Interceptors are harder to shoot down than most fighter aircraft and possess heavy firepower in the form of four lascannons and a missile array, allowing them to cut through the heaviest enemy resistance. The Frag Missiles can be replaced with Krak Missiles to smash ground targets, and with Hunter-killer Missiles for air superiority, making these aircraft more than a match for most opponents, and this box gives you no fewer than six of them to support your army.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis if you mount them on separately available Aeronautica Imperialis bases.

This set contains:

- 6x multi-part plastic "Xiphon Interceptor" miniatures for the Adeptus Astartes
- 6x Round Flight Bases with ball-jointed flight stands for Legions Imperialis (40mm)
- 1x Space Marines Squadron Transfer Sheet

These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
