The Avenger Strike Fighter is a supreme ground attack aircraft, designed to fight alongside Solar Auxilia cohorts during planetary invasions. Named for its primary weapon, the Avenger bolt cannon, the Avenger excels at strike missions against enemy armoured formations, showering the more vulnerable flanks of vehicles with mass-reactive bolt shells. The Avenger can also be pressed into service in its secondary role as an interceptor, providing air support to ground troops against enemy bomber squadrons.

The Solar Auxilia are spoiled for choice when it comes to small, relentless air combat aircraft. Add Avenger Strike Fighters to your forces and give them tremendous firepower, protected by a tail gunner – which is rare for such a small aircraft. Their weapon mixture allows them to take out targets on the ground or shoot down slow bombers. They also have a unique style and, with their downward-pointing wings, exposed engines, and wide tails, look like nothing else you have in your army.

These models can also be used in games of Aeronautica Imperialis, if you mount them on Aeronautica Imperialis bases sold separately.
