The Grave Guard are the partially mummified remnants of a king's chosen bodyguard, whose regiments followed their lord to the grave. In life, they were exceptional warriors, and death could not diminish their discipline and skill. In battle, they form unyielding ranks of armoured warriors, who for countless centuries have shed the blood of their enemies and seen entire armies break against their relentless shield wall.
This multipart plastic kit contains enough components to build 20 Grave Guard, elite infantry for the Tomb Kings of Khemri. Each is equipped with light armour and the tattered remnants of their grave wrappings, an ornate shield, and either a bladed hand weapon or a halberd. This set also includes all the parts needed for command models, both for a large phalanx and for several smaller units: You can build musicians, standard bearers with optional vultures on their banners, and Grave Guard captains with ornate equipment and death masks.
The set contains a variety of different skulls, shield variants, poses, torsos, and weapon arms, all of which are interchangeable, so that every undead phalanx, regardless of its size, looks absolutely unique.
In total, this set contains 176 plastic components and 20 Citadel 25mm square bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
