Vynnskyn the Flayer is famed among the Kyn as an executioner of the greatest threats, and a ruthless guardian of his people’s future. He leads a versatile task force of Hearthkyn Warriors, elite Einhyr Hearthguard, and Brôkhyr Thunderkyn to further the Kyn's holdings.
If you want to secure your conquests in the name of the Ancestors, this set is the perfect start to a new Leagues of Votann army – or an expansion for your existing collection. In either case, you'll save money compared to buying individual kits. This force is led by Vynnskyn the Flayer, a mighty hero in heavy exo-armour, accompanied by his bodyguard of Einhyr Hearthguard. A unit of Brôkhyr Thunderkyn provides ranged support for the unit of Hearthkyn Warriors, who capture vital objectives. These 19 plastic miniatures make up Vynnskyn's Bastion, a full force for fast-paced, tactical Combat Patrol games for Warhammer 40,000, the rules for which you can download for free from the Warhammer Community website.
This set contains 19 multipart plastic Leagues of Votann miniatures:
- 1x Einhyr Champion
- 3x Brôkhyr Thunderkyn
- 5x Einhyr Hearthguard
- 10x Hearthkyn Warriors
The miniatures in this set are supplied with a range of customisation options. The Einhyr Champion can choose between a mass-hammer and darkstar axe, two neck-piece options, two head options, and two variations of the RAM shield.
The Brôkhyr Thunderkyn can be individually equipped with bolt cannons, graviton blast cannons, or mighty SP conversion beamers, and can be further customised with seven head options and four different visors.
Each of the Einhyr Hearthguard carries either an EtaCarn plasma gun or volkanite disintegrator, and either a concussion gauntlet or plasma blade gauntlet. There are also enough parts to build an optional Theyn, who can be armed with a graviton hammer and choose between two different neck-pieces. Additionally, 19 interchangeable heads are included, featuring male and female versions, as well as closed visors.
Each of the Hearthkyn Warriors carries either an autoch-pattern boltgun or an ion blaster. There are enough parts to build an optional Theyn, with a special pistol and melee weapon. You can upgrade your warriors with a magnarail accelerator, HYLas auto-rifle, L7 missile launcher, EtaCarn plasma beamer, and a pair of plasma knives, as well as cosmetic options such as a medipack, a multiwave comms array, a pan-spectral scanner, and 21 interchangeable heads.
This kit comprises 382 plastic components, 4x Citadel 40mm Round Bases, 5x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, 10x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases, and 2x Leagues of Votann Transfer Sheets with 561 high-quality symbols to adorn your miniatures.
These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
