For millennia, the Kyn of the Leagues of Votann have exploited the material and metaphysical resources of their Ancestor Cores, in the galactic core and out into the galaxy. They are a people built on expansion and territorial behaviour, who never forgive and show no mercy. In the face of the Kyn's survival, the needs and lives of other species in the galaxy are of no interest whatsoever.
This set is the ideal foundation for a new Leagues of Votann collection or to expand an existing army to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000. Plus, you’ll save money compared to buying the kits individually. The force is led by a cunning Brôkhyr Iron-master and his retinue. The bulk of the force is made up of Cthonian Beserks, ready to overwhelm the foe. They are supported by the heavy weapons of the Brôkhyr Thunderkyn and a pair of Cthonian Shockers. A Sagitaur Guard is ready to provide fast support, but can also be built as a Sagitaur Carrier to get your troops where they need to be as quickly as possible.
This set contains the following 27 multi-part plastic Leagues of Votann miniatures:
– 1x Brôkhyr Iron-master, plus 1x Ironkyn Assistant and 3x E-COGs
– 1x Sagitaur Guard (which can alternatively be built as a Sagitaur Carrier)
– 2x Cthonian Shocker, plus 2x Breach Gun Markers
– 3x Brôkhyr Thunderkyn
– 10x Cthonian Beserks, plus 4x Drilling Grenade Markers
The miniatures in this set can be easily customised. The Brôkhyr Iron-master has a multi-spectral visor that can be raised above the eyes or pushed up onto the forehead.
The Sagitaur Guard crew can be built with six different heads, two of them Ironkyn, and the vehicle can be built with a turret-mounted magna-accelerator cannon or a HYLas gatling cannon. This miniature can alternatively be built as a Sagitaur Carrier, a light transport vehicle.
The Cthonian Shockers can be built with either Tremor-Shells or Breach Guns. The crew can be built with interchangeable heads and bodies. There are different ammunition types to match the Shocker's builds. There are also additional accessories to decorate the bases.
The Brôkhyr Thunderkyn can be built with bolt cannons, graviton blast cannons or SP conversion beamers. The kit includes seven different heads and four differently designed, interchangeable omni-visors.
The Cthonian Beserks can be built with Heavy Plasma Axes or Shock Mauls. Two optional Shock Gauntlet pairs and components are also included, from which you can build two Cthonian Beserks each with a drilling grenade launcher, accompanied by L-COG loaders. Four drilling grenade markers are also included to help you keep track of the effects of these piercing explosives.
This set also includes 2 Leagues of Votann decal sheets, each with 555 high-quality water-slide decals to decorate your miniatures. Here you'll find symbols for the Great Thurian League, the Transhyperian Alliance, the Urani-Surtr Cartel, the Ymyr Conglomerates and the Kronus Hegemony, as well as a whole host of other numbers and other insignia.
This kit contains 507 plastic components, 1 Citadel Oval Base (105mm x 70mm), 1 Citadel Round Base (32mm), 2 Citadel Round Bases (80mm), 2 Citadel Round Bases (50mm), 3 Citadel Round Bases (40mm), 11 Citadel Round Bases (28.5mm) and 11 Citadel Round Bases (25mm). These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
