Bowmen are recruited from the low-ranking peasants of Bretonnia's duchies and are expected to use their longbows to attack from a distance those enemies not worthy of a knight's attention. Most peasants train with the bow from a young age, but to be effective on the battlefield, they gather in large units, firing volley after volley at the enemy.

From this multi-part plastic kit, you can build 36 bowmen of the Kingdom of Bretonnia. Each of these conscripted soldiers is armed with a powerful longbow, and the kit includes four sets of defensive stakes on separate bases to protect them from cavalry. The kit includes two command sections – each consisting of a standard bearer, a musician with a choice of instruments, and a yeoman champion – so you can field two regiments of 18 models or one large block of 32 models.

The kit includes optional flaming braziers, as well as a variety of different heads, command accessories, and peasant trinkets, all interchangeable – so no two bowmen mobs need to look the same.

This kit contains 223 plastic components, 36x Citadel Square Bases (25mm), 4x Citadel Rectangular Bases (25 x 100mm), and a Bretonnia transfer sheet with 176 high-quality transfers.

These miniatures are unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
