Das Tone-Pro-System ordnet eine Farbfamilie in fünf klar aufeinander abgestimmte Helligkeitsstufen. Tone 1 bildet die dunkelste Abstufung, Tone 5 die hellste. Dadurch lassen sich Schatten, Grundfarben, Layer und Highlights innerhalb derselben Farbwelt schnell und nachvollziehbar aufbauen.
