A Warhammer 40,000 Novel
The Black Templars of the Second Dorean Crusade are attempting to rejoin their fleet at the Shrine World of Tempestus, to break the siege there. Having been driven off course by a warp storm and assailed by doubts, can they hold to their faith and come to the aid of their brethren?
WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK
The novel powerfully demonstrates the Black Templars' devotion to their faith and destiny. And, of course, there's always plenty of action when the followers of Khorne get involved.
THE STORY
On the fringes of the Cicatrix Maledictum, the Black Templars of the Second Dorean Crusade race through the void to rejoin the main fleet at the ancient, storied Shrine World of Tempestus. After an incursion by the murderous warbands of the Blood God, the Crusade intends to free the planet from the Corrupted Powers once and for all.
However, a severe warp storm scatters the fleet, leaving the 'Kühne Ehre' alone and damaged in the void. Plagued by doubts, Castellian Emeric and his brothers must hold to their faith and forge a path to Tempestus. For there, the true battle begins, and the price of victory may be higher than even they are willing to pay.
