WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK
Countless mighty titans clash in the ravaged wasteland that was once the proud homeworld, as the Warmaster calls down reinforcements from orbit. No less epic is the clash between Jaghatai Khan and Mortarion. In a desperate move, Khan attempts to recapture a key position to cut off the flow of war materials and troops. The conflict will only grow larger and deadlier after this.

THE STORY
In Mortis, the traitors have seized control of the spaceport, allowing them to usher in the next phase of the siege. Horus sends the majestic legions of his titans to breach the Mercury Wall, which the loyalists seek to prevent with their own god-machines.

The siege progresses in Warhawk. The White Scars, led by Jaghatai Khan, the Warhawk of Chogoris, in their desperation, forge a plan for a counter-attack to recapture the Lion’s Gate Spaceport against all odds. Since it is held by Mortarion and his Death Guard, a decisive confrontation ensues.
