The Emperor's Children worship the Chaos God Slaanesh, praising this decadent deity with great debauchery in every boastful conquest. With a hail of explosive bolt shells, devastating sonic waves, and strikes of curved swords, they artfully shred their foes, leaving behind only a bloody canvas before moving on to their next masterpiece.
A corrupted Lord of Exaltation leads this warband with whip and pistol, slaying Slaanesh's enemies in an exquisite, ghostly manner. Behind him stand the Tormentors, who form the backbone of many Emperor's Children armies. The force is rounded out by two squads of Sonic Marines, who fill the war zone with deafening sonic waves that shatter more than just eardrums. This set is ideal for starting an Emperor's Children army with a new range of miniatures.
The Lord of Exaltation can be armed with a power fist, plasma pistol, or an Exultant Whip in his right hand, and a Phoenix Power Spear, power sword, or a Shriek Pistol in his left hand. You have a choice of four different insignias for his power cell and two heads: with or without helmet.
The Tormentors are armed with a bolt pistol and a close combat weapon. Of 10 miniatures, two can each be equipped with a special weapon: a melta or a plasma gun. Alternatively, the miniatures can be built as Infractors, close combat warriors equipped with bolt pistols and dueling sabres. The kit includes two Obsessionists who can lead the squads. They can be built with two different loincloths and armed with either a plasma pistol or bolt pistol and an Exultant Whip or a power sword.
Whichever unit you choose, the set contains plenty of options to customize your troops – interchangeable heads with and without helmets, shoulder pads with and without the Emperor's Children symbol, different power cells, and plenty of accessories, including grenades, pouches, and combat stimulants.
Two of the Sonic Marines can optionally be built as Disharmonists, and four can be equipped with an optional Bass Blaster. The Disharmonists can be built with three different heads, and the Sonic Marines have interchangeable heads with and without helmets, shoulder pads with and without the Emperor's Children symbol, different power cells, and loudspeakers for their sonic blasters, making it easy to customize your squad.
In this set you will also find the new Codex: Emperor's Children for the first time, a 112-page hardcover book with an exclusive cover full of inspiring background information, new rules, and epic illustrations. In addition to the book and miniatures, the set also includes a deck of datacards and an Emperor's Children transfer sheet.
This set contains the following multi-part plastic miniatures:
– 1x Lord of Exaltation
– 20x Tormentors (who can alternatively be built as Infactors)
– 12x Sonic Marines
Also included:
– Codex: Emperor's Children – a 112-page hardcover book with soft-touch cover and artwork exclusive to this set
– Datacards: Emperor's Children, with 22 cards
