Cataphractii armour is among the earliest variants of Tactical Dreadnought Armour issued, providing increased protection to the already resilient Astartes warriors who wear it, thanks to the shield generators built into their thick ceramite shoulder plates. By the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, all Legions maintained large contingents of Cataphractii Terminators.

This multipart plastic kit builds six Cataphractii Terminators, hand-picked heavy infantry for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. These models march into enemy fire armed with combi-bolters and power fists, engaging the foe up close – making them ideal spearheads for deliberate, focused advances.

One of the miniatures can be built as an optional Sergeant, wielding either a power sword, power axe, or power maul, and equipped with a choice of three shoulder trim designs or an optional grenade harness. One of the Terminators can replace their power fist with a tank-busting chainfist, while another can swap their combi-bolter for a heavy flamer. All miniatures can be further customised with a choice of shoulder pads, matching thigh armour, and optional tilting plates.

These miniatures do not have specific Legion markings, allowing you to field them in any Legiones Astartes force – be they loyal to the Emperor or pledged to Horus' rebellion.

This set includes a Legiones Astartes Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality, waterslide transfers. These include iconography for the Iron Warriors, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists Legions, alongside a variety of numbers, honour markings, service studs, and script.

This kit comprises 173 plastic components and comes with 6x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
