Cataphractii armour was among the first patterns of Tactical Dreadnought Armour to be issued, offering superior protection to the already tough Astartes warriors who wore it, thanks to the shield generators built into its thick ceramite shoulder plates. By the outbreak of the Horus Heresy, all Legions maintained substantial contingents of Cataphractii Terminators.

This multipart plastic kit builds six Cataphractii Terminators, hand-picked heavy infantry for your Legiones Astartes armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. They stride into enemy fire armed with volkite chargers and power mauls, engaging the foe up close – making them ideal spearheads for deliberate, targeted advances.

One of the miniatures can be built as an optional Sergeant, who can carry a power sword, power axe, or power hammer, and is equipped with a choice of three shoulder mounts or an optional grenade harness. One of the Terminators can replace their volkite charger with a reaper autocannon, and all of the miniatures feature a choice of shoulder pads, matching thigh armour, and optional tilting shields, allowing you to easily customise your warriors.

These miniatures do not have specific Legion markings, allowing you to field them in any Legiones Astartes force, whether you are loyal to the Emperor or have cast your lot in with Horus’ rebellion.

This set includes a Legiones Astartes Transfer Sheet containing 618 high-quality, waterslide decals. These allow you to customise your miniatures with iconography for the Iron Warriors, Sons of Horus, Salamanders, and Imperial Fists Legions, alongside a variety of numbering, honour markings, general decals, and script.

This kit comprises 170 plastic components and comes with 6x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
