Tactical Squads are the backbone of the Space Marine Legions and the force by which the Great Crusade conquered vast swathes of the galaxy. It was through the martial might of thousands of superhuman warriors such as these, armed with deadly bolters and armoured for battle in the most inhospitable war zones, that the enemies of Mankind were smashed time and again. The Legion Tactical Squad is a highly flexible infantry unit, able to attack or defend as needed, storm heavily fortified positions and seize and hold strategic objectives, or simply brutally slaughter the foe in almost any situation.

Type III 'Iron' armour hails from the era of the Great Crusade, and is renowned for its use in assault operations, thanks to its bulky but resilient construction.

This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Space Marine Legionaries, to be fielded in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy as a Legion Tactical Squad of 20 models or as two units of 10 models. Each of these Legionaries is armed with a bolter, and various optional pieces of wargear, such as grenades, pouches, and a bayonet for close-quarters combat. You can also build two Legionaries with a Legion Vexillum, two with a nuncio-vox, and two with an augury scanner.

Additional wargear and alternative head options are included, allowing you to build a Legion Tactical Sergeant for each of your squads – the kit offers a variety of additional weapon options for these leaders, including plasma pistols, power swords, power fists, and lightning claws.

These models are supplied unpainted and unassembled – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. No Legion markings are included, allowing any Warhammer hobbyist to paint them in the colours of their choosing. The box does, however, include a transfer sheet with 293 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions.

This multipart plastic kit comprises 368 plastic components and is supplied with 20x Citadel 32mm Round Bases, and 1x Legiones Astartes Infantry Transfer Sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
