Key Features

  • A mighty Mechanicum Siege Automata for use in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy

  • A mobile gun platform mounting a huge shoulder-mounted plasma mortar

  • Blast enemies from afar or tear them apart up close with brutal shock chargers

Less flexible in its intended purpose, the Thanatar-Class Siege Automata are designed as mobile artillery platforms, their weighty frames constructed to carry their hefty armaments and power systems. The Thanatar-Cavas configuration is armed with a Hellex-pattern plasma mortar, a terrifying weapon that hurls globes of plasma into the heart of enemy fortifications. The origin of the Thanatar-Cavas is unknown, only that its weaponry is manufactured on the forge world of Ryza, as it is the only place where Hellex-pattern weapons are produced.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Thanatar-Cavas Siege Automata, a weighty Mechanicum Destroyer robot from the Age of Darkness. The Thanatar’s primary weapon is a huge plasma mortar mounted to its shoulder, which can be built with the firing aperture open or closed. Its arms terminate in claw-like shock chargers, and the left arm also includes a cognis flamer.

The Thanatar-Cavas can be built in a wide variety of poses, with joints at its waist and shoulders, three poses for its right arm, two poses for its left arm with accompanying ammunition feeds, and options to build the shock chargers in various gripping positions.

This kit comprises 175 plastic components and is supplied with a Citadel 120mm Round Base. Also included is a Mechanicum Macro-construct Transfer Sheet with 394 high-quality waterslide transfers for your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints.
