The Scorpius is an armoured vehicle schema created at the behest of the Space Wolves Legion to provide indirect fire support for assault operations, thanks to its advanced missile launcher systems. The Scorpius is ideally suited for such operations, and was cleared for use across all Legiones Astartes before the start of the Horus Heresy. Alongside the Scorpius, the Legiones Astartes also make use of many other mobile artillery systems, including the Whirlwind. With indirectly firing multiple missile launchers, they are able to cover large areas with explosive ordnance.

This multipart plastic kit builds four Whirlwinds and four Scorpius Missile Tanks, mobile artillery for your Legiones Astartes armies in Legions Imperialis. Both are capable of firing indirectly, with the Scorpius focusing on enemy vehicles, Knights and even Titans, and the Whirlwind best at flushing enemy infantry out of cover. Up to four of your vehicles can be equipped with an optional dozer blade, allowing a degree of customisation for your Missile Tanks.

This kit comprises 120 plastic components and 1 Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet, containing 1130 high-quality, waterslide transfers to adorn your miniatures.

These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
