The Malcador Battle Tank’s design confers a number of advantages, the greatest of which is its battlefield speed – remarkably fast for a tank of its size, thanks to its specialized motive system. By the time of the Horus Heresy, it had been relegated to the second tier of Imperial Army units as the focus shifted to smaller, more tactically flexible tanks. The exigencies of war brought it back into general use, where it was deployed in massive formations and equipped with a wide variety of armaments.

This multipart plastic kit builds four Epic Scale Malcadors, Battle Tanks for your Solar Auxilia armies. Faster and more lightly armoured than the Leman Russ Battle Tank, they can be armed with a variety of weapon options for their intended battlefield role. The turret can bear a versatile Malcador battlecannon, a tank-hunting Malcador lascannon, or a long-ranged Malcador vanquisher battlecannon. The hull can feature a heavy bolter, lascannon, autocannon, or demolisher cannon. The sponsons can carry Malcador autocannons, Malcador lascannons, or Malcador heavy bolters. You can further customise your squadron with different gunners, spotters, or a closed hatch on the turret.

This kit comprises 124 plastic components and a transfer sheet. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
