The initiates of the Order of the Dragon Knights are those Easterling warriors who, inspired by the example of Amdûr, have dedicated their lives to perfecting the art of combat. Hundreds of aspirants demonstrate their skills to the knights who guard the shrines, but only a select few are permitted to stay and begin real training. These initiates are the Black Dragons, who train under the guidance of the Dragon Knights, just as they once learned from Amdûr. Although they have chosen a life of solitude and only ever take a handful of warriors into their retinue, when the call of war thunders through Rhûn, the Dragon Knights answer – and their skill is so great that they can turn the tide of battle.

No one can say exactly how it came to be that the Easterlings worshipped the Dark Lord, but they do, and they willingly lay down their lives for him on countless battlefields. The most fervent of these loyalists are the War Priests, who whip those around them into a battle frenzy, in which the warriors disregard wounds or pierce the enemy with overwhelming force. Some consider this an expression of the Easterlings' religious fervour, others dark magic – the result remains the same.

This multipart resin kit allows you to build two impressive heroes for Easterling armies. The Dragon Knight is a ruthless knight specialising in killing enemy heroes, while the War Priest empowers his allies with sinister magical powers. The kit consists of eight resin components and comes with 2x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. Rules for these miniatures can be found in Armies of The Lord of the Rings™.

This kit is unpainted and requires assembly – we recommend using Citadel paints.
