Perhaps the greatest Man in the history of Middle-earth, it was Elendil who led the Númenórean warriors to Eriador following the downfall of Westernesse. A wise and noble King, no man could best Elendil in battle. Together with his sons, Elendil led his followers into the War of the Last Alliance against Sauron, and after a fearsome battle with the Dark Lord he was slain upon the slopes of Mount Doom. Yet there can be no doubt that this act preserved Middle-earth from the grasp of the Lord of the Rings.

History will remember Isildur as the victor of the Battle of the Last Alliance as he grasped the hilt shards of Narsil and cut the Ring from Sauron’s hand. But the spirit of the Dark Lord was still potent and Isildur was quickly corrupted by the Ring’s power, refusing to destroy it. The Ring betrayed Isildur and brought about his death, and so the will of Sauron was allowed to persist.

Who better to lead your army of Númenor than Elendil, the High King of Gondor, and his son Isildur? Both are powerful warriors who deserve a spot at the front of your force. Whilst Elendil excels in duels, Isildur features both an infantry and mounted version, allowing you to better adapt him to your army’s fighting style.

This set contains three metal models in four components, and is supplied with one Citadel 40mm Round Base and two Citadel 25mm Slotted Round Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
