These warriors, as broad and tall as the mightiest of Men, able to withstand sunlight and fight tirelessly, would be his weapon against the Free Peoples. He unleashed thousands of Uruk-hai Warriors upon Rohan, clad in thick armour and armed with pikes, shields and crossbows – the product of the horrific forges beneath Isengard.
