Middle-Earth: Mordor™ War Catapult (252390)(Mail Order)

The Catapults of Mordor are Sauron's first choice when his armies need to overcome enemy fortifications. They have been fashioned from the strongest timber plundered from the forests of Middle-earth, and heavy iron fittings hold them together. For any inhabitant of a fortress, these devices are a terrifying sight, for they launch great boulders and have already razed cities and torn down citadels from Umbar to Angmar. So heavy are the projectiles that a Troll is assigned to each catapult to load it and protect the rest of the crew from enemy skirmishers or scouts.

The catapult itself is a massive device, appearing to be constructed from strong timber and Mordor-forged iron. A mighty, metal-bound boulder acts as a counterweight at one end. The catapult is loaded by a large, dangerous-looking Troll, who wears little clothing apart from a mask, but carries a heavy rock. The kit also includes three Orc Warriors to operate the catapult, each in grim-looking, heavy armour.

This highly detailed resin kit comprises 21 parts, one round base (60mm) and one sprue of 4 round bases (25mm) to build a Mordor Siege Catapult.
