Middle-Earth: Smaug™ (Mail Order)

Smaug is a fire-drake from the northern mountains, and there is no doubt that he is the greatest and most powerful of his kind still existing in Middle-earth. His greed led him to covet the wealth of Erebor, and so he set off. He cared little that he would have to attack the greatest kingdom of Durin's Folk to get his claws on his prize. Thus it came to pass that Erebor and the neighboring human town of Dale were laid to ruins, and the survivors had to leave their ancestral home.

Smaug stands on an incredibly detailed designed base that showcases the immense treasures of Erebor. The Arkenstone and the One Ring are clearly visible among the gemstones and gold, as Smaug looms over the would-be thief Bilbo Baggins.

This fantastic 42-part miniature is handcrafted using top-quality resin and advanced techniques to produce an extraordinarily detailed model. Every scale, every horn, and every battle scar has been expertly reproduced to create an extremely authentic collectible.

The miniature weighs 2.4 kg and measures 8.4 inches (or 21.4 cm) from the bottom edge of the base to the tip of Smaug's wing. The base measures 9.2 inches (or 23.1 cm) by 5.4 inches (or 13.3 cm).

Please note: This miniature is not recommended for children under 14 years of age. Its assembly requires advanced model-building skills. It comes unpainted and needs to be assembled. We recommend using Citadel super glue and Citadel paints. Preparation and cleaning work are necessary before painting. Before assembly, small casting residues and sprues must be filed or sanded, and larger sprues removed.
