An Aeldari Corsair Novel
Baron Myrin Sturmdämmer of the Star-Splinter Corsairs allies with an Aeldari of the craftworlds against an Ork privateer, with whom he battles for loot and territory. However, the path to his goal leads through a complex web of obligations and the favour of those above him in the Corsair organisation.
WHY YOU SHOULD READ THIS BOOK
It offers a glimpse into the mysterious lives of the Aeldari Corsairs, who exist between the regulated social structures of the craftworlds and the ruthless Drukhari. Theirs is a life full of daring adventures and excitement, as well as dangers and treacherous intrigues. Moreover, they must contend with the most popular pirates full of cunning and guile – Ork privateers!
THE STORY
The Star-Splinters are Aeldari Corsairs, raiders and plunderers of the void, and Baron Myrin Sturmdämmer is one of their greatest leaders. When his long-simmering conflict with Uzgul the Vainglorious's Fiesgrind Buccaneer escalates unexpectedly, he is forced to form an alliance with Taenar Leotharan, an outcast admiral from his former home, the craftworld Ilmaren.
While Taenar struggles to adapt to the unrestrained life of the Corsairs, realising that freedom is a double-edged sword, Myrin faces his own challenges. For if a Star-Splinter's authority depends on the success of a final voyage and the whims of their feared leader Princess Tishria, Uzgul's privateers may not be the deadliest threat...
