Masters of celestial engineering, Lord-Ordinators are wise men who have shaped the Mortal Realms through the word of Sigmar and the reading of the heavens. When their keen and serious minds can’t reshape reality to their will, they take up their hammers and go to war, carving the future out of the present with every blow, much as a stone carver would shape rock into a temple to honour Sigmar. They stride to battle clad in sigmarite armour, wielding hammers that descend with the force of thunder. It is their ancient duty to interpret the stars above and use the truths found there to shape the destiny of the battlefield.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Lord-Ordinator. He comes clad in a rather impressive ornate suit of sigmarite armour – slightly less of it than most Stormcast Eternals, with his arms bare between his gauntlets and his lion-and-hammer decorated shoulder pads. Over his breastplate is a large textured sash, which flares out into a cloak at the rear, held in place by a belt from which hang various tools of his trade as an engineer and siege master – rulers and other measuring implements and a cranking mechanism dangle from his waist. He rests one foot upon an open toolbox, on top of which is an anemometer. He wears no helmet – instead, we are treated to the sight of his glorious beard. Behind his head is an arcanabulum, and as a final flourish of symbolism, an anvil and a pair of calipers are attached to his belt. For weaponry, he carries an impressive Astral Grandhammer in his right hand, and in his left he holds an astrolabe, which he gazes at with a serious, enquiring expression.
The Lord-Ordinator comes as 10 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 40mm Round base.
