Naturally, the armies of the Wood Elf Realms rise in times of conflict. Versatile soldiers meet at the root of evil, and even common folk take up longbows and spears to march under the banners of the Glade Lords. Even the most untrained warriors are full of agility and skill, making them deadly adversaries.
From this set, you can build a solid core force for your Wood Elf Realms armies in Warhammer: The Old World. Elite cavalry of Wild Riders and Sisters of the Thorn lead the charge, and the Eternal Guard serve as shock troops with their spears. A large unit of Wood Elf Warriors with Asrai longbows supports the rest of your army.
The miniatures in this set are easy to customize. The Wild Riders or Sisters of the Thorn can be built as one large unit or two small units of five warriors each, each with their own optional champion, standard bearer, and musician. Cosmetic accessories are included in the set, and the Wild Riders can all be equipped with an optional shield.
The Glade Guard or Eternal Guard can be built as one large unit or two units of 10 warriors each, each with their own optional champion, standard bearer, and musician. The heads and weapons can be swapped between them, and the Eternal Guard can be built with optional shields.
The Wood Elf Warriors can be built as one large unit or two units of 16 archers each, each with their own optional champion, standard bearer, and musician. The champion can be built with an Asrai longbow or a sword. You have a choice of two standard tops for the standard bearer, and the heads, legs, torsos, cloaks, and weapons can be interchanged between all miniatures. These miniatures can also be used as Wood Elf Scouts.
However you choose to build your miniatures, this set offers a fantastic way to start a new Wood Elf Realms army or expand your collection while saving money compared to buying the kits individually.
This set contains 62 multipart plastic miniatures:
– 10x Wild Riders (which can alternatively be built as Sisters of the Thorn)
– 20x Glade Guard (which can alternatively be built as Eternal Guard)
– 32x Wood Elf Warriors
This kit comprises 824 plastic components, 10x Citadel Rectangular Bases (30mm x 60mm), and 52x Citadel Square Bases (25mm).
This set also includes 2x Wood Elf Realms Transfer Sheets, each with 186 high-quality transfers for decorating your miniatures.
These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
