The Thousand Sons are masters of the warp and infernal sorcery. In battle, their Scarab Occult Terminators march in uncanny lockstep, spitting corrupt fire and cutting down any foe foolish enough to approach them. Led by Sorcerers who can obliterate foes with warpfire, they are often accompanied by bizarre, tentacled mutant beasts.
This packed set is ideal for starting a new Thousand Sons collection or expanding an existing army to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000. It also saves you money compared to buying the kits separately. The force is led by a Magister Infernalis, a powerful sorcerer who can summon daemons and cast debilitating magic. He is supported by a trio of Exalted Sorcerers, who can split up and ensure that the enemy cannot hide from your psychic dominance. Two units of Scarab Occult Terminators form the core of the force. They are supported by a Mutalith Vortex Beast, a horrifyingly mutated creature blessed by Tzeentch that can erode the enemy's sanity before tearing them apart with massive clawed limbs.
From this set, you can build 15 multi-part plastic miniatures of the Thousand Sons:
– 1x Magister Infernalis
– 3x Exalted Sorcerers
– 10x Scarab Occult Terminators
– 1x Mutalith Vortex Beast (can alternatively be built as a Slaughterbrute)
The miniatures in this set are easily customisable. The Exalted Sorcerers have seven heads, six staff tops, nine shoulder pads, and three back modules, all interchangeable within the unit.
Two of the Scarab Occult Terminators can optionally be built as Sorcerers, each with a choice of two different tips for their force weapons, two different heads, and two head ornaments. They can also be armed with a Prosperine khopesh or an inferno combi-bolter. The heads, bodies, head ornaments, arms, inferno combi-bolters, Prosperine khopeshes, and shoulder pads are interchangeable within the rest of the unit, allowing you to easily customise your elite warriors. Up to two can be built with a heavy warpflamer or a soulreaper cannon, another with an optional hellfire missile rack.
The Mutalith Vortex Beast can alternatively be built as a Slaughterbrute – a raging beast bound by dark sorcery.
This set also includes 2 Chaos Space Marines transfer sheets, each with 364 high-quality waterslide decals. Here you will find symbols for the Thousand Sons, Black Legion, Word Bearers, Iron Warriors, Alpha Legion, and Night Lords, as well as general insignia related to the various Chaos Gods.
This kit consists of 347 plastic components and includes 1 Citadel Oval Base (120mm), 12 Citadel Round Bases (40mm), and 3 Citadel Round Bases (32mm). These miniatures need to be assembled and are unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
