Tyranids: Biovore (248355) (Mail Order)

The Biovore is a stocky, bloated creature, but no less dangerous for it. Within its ungainly body, the Biovore nurtures a clutch of Spore Mines, living bombs that can kill the enemy with acid, poison, and chitin shrapnel. The Biovore hurls these Spore Mines in a high arc at the enemy. However, the projectiles do not explode on impact, but only when they sense the proximity of a non-Tyranid life form.

Artillery units are rather scarce among the Tyranids, but this is where the Biovore comes in. The Spore Mines it fires either explode on contact with the enemy or lie in wait until something gets too close (or pokes them with a sharp stick). The shelling by the Biovore and the drifting Spore Mines make it difficult for the enemy to capture objectives.

This set contains one Tyranid Biovore. The highly detailed resin kit consists of eight parts (including three Spore Mines) as well as one 60mm round base and three 25mm round bases. The miniatures are unpainted and need to be assembled. We recommend using Citadel Super Glue and Citadel Paints.
