Should the Tyranids encounter a particularly resilient target, the Hive Mind sometimes unleashes what Imperial strategists refer to as a Crushing Stampede. The core of these swarms consists of colossal monstrosities, led by the most physically imposing Synapse creatures a hive ship can produce. With two-legged tanks like the Tyrannofex or Exocrine for support, Crushing Stampedes can break through anything that stands in their way.
This packed set is ideal for starting a new Tyranid collection or expanding an existing army, saving money compared to buying the kits individually. At the forefront is the Neurotyrant and its Neuroloids, while the rest of the force is filled with powerful beasts. Here you have a Screamer-Killer, a Tyrannofex, a Haruspex, and a Maleceptor, enough to strike fear into any opponent. Each of these creatures is powerful enough on its own to deal and take significant damage. When combined, your opponents will face a true challenge.
This set includes the following 7 multi-part plastic Tyranid miniatures:
– 1x Neurotyrant with 2x Neuroloids
– 1x Screamer-Killer
– 1x Tyrannofex (which can alternatively be built as a Tervigon)
– 1x Haruspex (which can alternatively be built as an Exocrine)
– 1x Maleceptor (which can alternatively be built as a Toxicrine)
Some of the beasts in this kit can be built in different ways. The Tyrannofex can be built with a rupture cannon, particularly effective against vehicles, an acid spray, effective against armour, or a fleshborer hive, effective against hordes. It can also alternatively be built as a Termagant-producing Tervigon, which can be built with either crushing claws or scything talons.
The infinitely hungry Haruspex can alternatively be built as an Exocrine with a bio-plasmic cannon.
The psionically powerful Maleceptor can instead be built as a Toxicrine, particularly effective against infantry. Both can be built in a crouching or attacking pose, with a Space Marine Terminator crushed beneath their claws.
This kit comprises 212 plastic components, 1 Citadel 90mm Hex-Hole Round Base, 1 Citadel 50mm Hex-Hole Round Base, 2 Citadel 25mm Hex-Hole Round Bases, and 3 Citadel 120mm Oval Bases. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints.
